Stephen has oversight duties for the firm, and along with Tributary's Managing Directors is responsible for the development and implementation of long-term strategy and policy as well as the day to day operations of the firm. He serves as Chief Compliance Officer, as well as leading Tributary's sales and marketing efforts. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Tributary Funds and Chairman of its Board of Directors. As a 27-year veteran of the industry, his resume includes Smith Barney Harris and Upham in Omaha, Nebraska, Waddell and Reed Asset Management Company in Overland Park, Kansas, and PIMCO Advisers, LLP in Newport Beach, California. Stephen joined Tributary Capital Management's predecessor, First Investment Group in May of 1999. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1983. He served as an adjunct professor at his alma mater from 2006-2010, where his graduate students twice won the prestigious Dayton University International Investment Award for achieving top rated risk-adjusted performance over a two semester class session. Steve serves on various national and regional leadership committees for the March of Dimes, the board of directors for the University of Nebraska at Omaha Alumni Association, the Iowa West Foundation's Investment Committee and serves on the First Capital Partners Advisory Board.
